Results: 1st in Class, 3rd Overall (28 total)

The weather was perfect and Leon Stavlo set up a very fun and challenging course, but... I just couldn't get it to "flow" like I wanted it to. There were a few spots on the course that kept giving me trouble. I'd get through one trouble spot, and screw up the other, or vise versa. But I couldn't get 'em all done right in one run. My times were pretty fast, but not as fast as I would've liked them to be. I know I could've run the course at least 1.5 to 2 seconds faster if I would've gotten a good run.

Steve Sucsy came out on top overall in his A-Stock '00 Honda S2000 (beat me by 1.086 seconds RAW!), and Jay Messenger took second place overall (and FTD!) in his C-Modified Swift Sports 2000 race car. Jay brought out his Sports 2000 to give it a quick shake down before an ACRL Pro Race in Las Vegas. That thing was FAST!

I came in third overall, and got third place points. That pretty much kills my chances for winning the Championship this year. The good thing is, now there's no pressure on me to win the Championship, so I don't have to worry about that anymore and I can just go have fun at the last two events. Plus, I don't have to worry about my tire situation anymore (I was worried that my tires wouldn't last to the end of the season), cause I've barely got enough tread to last one more event and Steve told me that I could co-drive his Honda S2000 at the last event (Groovy!), so... I'm set for the rest of the season!
Note to Self: Budget for TWO sets of tires next season!
