Race Report 2011 - West Texas Region Events #6 and #7

Venue: Kimbrough Stadium, Canyon, TX
Event #6 Results: 1st in Class (3), 1st Overall (9), Top Time of the Day
Event #7 Results: 1st in Class (3), 1st Overall (9), Top Time of the Day
Another double event at Kimbrough Stadium in Canyon, TX. The course was excessively tight. So tight that I never shifted the car into 2nd gear on either course. I know Kimbrough Stadium is a small venue, but there is enough room to design a course that flows better than this one did.
Despite the very challenging course design, I was able to win my class, take 1st place Overall, and get Top Time of the Day at each of the two events. I also used my GoPro Hero HD camera to capture my fastest run from each event (AM and PM).
