Race Report 2006

Venue: Miller Field - Dalhart, TX
Results: 1st in Class (2 total), 2nd Overall (17 total)

Okay... so I wasn't planning on competing at all this year, but... I had made a front anti-sway bar adjustment change, and decided I would attend one Dalhart event to see how it affected the handling of the car.  Keep in mind that I was on the worn out Kumho Victoracers from the 2005 season that barely had one event left in them (I corded one of them during this event).  The car was handling great with the new anti-sway bar adjustment, especially on worn tires, cool temps, and with this being my first event in a year.  I designed the course, which turned out really great, and was able to win my class and come in 2nd Overall.  It's good to know that I didn't get too rusty after taking the year off.   I still can't decide if I'll be running in BSP again next year, or if I will try to run STU.  I guess I will wait to see what the 2007 PAX indexes will be before making my final decision.
