Race Report 2005 - Round 8

Venue: Dolaca Motorplex - Brownfield, TX
Results: 1st in Class (2 total), 2nd Overall (24 total)

Great event, great course (my design), great weather, and a great turnout.  It was a nice change to be back at Dolaca Motorplex since this time last year.  I was able to take the win in my class again, and I came in 2nd overall again.  I can feel that the tires are loosing grip fast and they're pretty much going to be worthless at the next event, but it will be the last event of the season so I won't bother buying another set.  Besides... the points I earned from this event have put me in first place in the Championship standings and has actually clinched the 2005 Open Championship title for me even if I don't compete at the last event!
