Race Report 2005 - Round 7

Date: September 25, 2005
Venue: Miller Field - Dalhart, TX
Results: 1st in Class (2 total), 2nd Overall (14 total)

I was back in the zone (for the most part) at this event.  I was able to take the win in my class, which included Steve Sucsy who was bumped up from A-Stock, and I came in 2nd overall.  I bumped up the air pressures in my tires from 37F/34R cold to 40F/38R cold, and it made an awesome difference.  The car was much more controlable, and wasn't oversteering all over the place like it was at the last event.  The course layout that I designed turned out to be one of the best I've ran at Miller Field.  I was really happy with the course and the car.  The results from this event put me in a great position to win the 2005 Championship as long as I do fairly well at the last two events of the season which will both be at Dolaca Motorplex.
